Highlights

Everyday we are receiving donation forms with amazing items for the 1st Annual PS 132 Spring Gala Auction.  We want to thank everyone for working so hard to make this great event a successful one!

Some of the items we have received so far include:  tickets to the Broadway show FELA (www.FELAOn Broadway.com)with dinner in at an amazing midtown steakhouse, Keens, (www.keens.com), a one night stay in a Manhattan hotel and tickets to a live rehearsal taping of Saturday Night Live, tickets to Phantom of the Opera on Broadway, multiple art classes (pottery, jewelry making, painting and drawing, and more!)at JCC in Manhattan (www.jccmanhattan.org), art, ceramics, handmade furniture, serious fashion items,  dinner for four at Rye (www.ryerestaurant.com), a brand new Wii, and a complete box set of the Harry Potter series.

Also, we are proud to announce that the wonderful teachers of PS 132 are donating their time with your child as an auction item.  These are “teacher treats” and include wonderful auction items such as:  a teacher and one child going to the Big Apple Circus, a teacher and one child going to a museum, a teacher and one child getting a mani/pedi, a teacher and 6 children playing a game of wiffle ball in the park, and so much more!  We thank the teachers for their support!

Many classes are also busy at work creating original projects that will be offered at auction.  Some classes are working on handmade ceramic tiles, family recipe books, organic cook books, papier mache furniture, hand designed aprons, a class artbook with self-portraits, and many more.  Thanks class room parents!
